High-End Sculptural Lighting

Rawlite started as a series of dreams and sketches in November 1988. From there, a few of the designs were created to fill empty spaces at parties in our home. Comments and orders from those parties prompted a light and sculpture design company. A number of these designs have been produced as one off designs and in series for HIGH-END retailers over the decades since 1988.

I design items that hopefully are as provocative as functional. I am fascinated by the contrast of colour, shape, texture and design, that integrates artistic and functional use of bright (light) with dark (shadow).
